Cardiac Science Powerheart G5 Paediatric Defibrillation Pads
The Cardiac Science Powerheart G5 Paediatric Defibrillation Pads are compatible with the Powerheart G5 Fully Automatic Defibrillator and the Powerheart G5 Semi Automatic Defibrillators.
Paediatric pad are designed to be used on children up to 8 years of age or up to 55lbs (25kg). Once the pads have been connected to the G5 defibrillator, the energy levels are automatically reduced to provide a suitable shock for a child. These pads are specifically for use when treating a child, adult pads will be required to treat an adult.
Cardiac Science's non-polarised technology means the pads can be placed in any position on the patient and can be used by untrained responders, preventing confusion and saving precious seconds in an emergency situation. The pads also feature clear instructions to help the rescuer through the process.
