Defib4Life Shortlisted for ‘Small Business of the Year’ Award at East Midlands Chamber Awards 2025

We’re delighted to announce that Defib4Life has been shortlisted for the Small Business of the Year award at the East Midlands Chamber Awards 2025! We have gone from strength to strength over the last year and this recognition highlights this and our commitment to our mission of ensuring that life-saving equipment is available and accessible across community settings. It’s an honour to be recognised alongside so many other inspiring local businesses and we can’t wait to celebrate on 26 March at Derby County Football Club.

Empowering Communities and Saving Lives

At Defib4Life, our mission has always been simple: to make sure that life-saving defibrillators are available, visible and ready for uses. Every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces a person’s chances of survival by 10% and, with over 30,000 sudden cardiac arrests occurring in the UK each year, our goal is to ensure every space is prepared.

From schools and workplaces to sports clubs and public spaces, we provide easy to use, reliable and affordable defibrillators supported by our training, maintenance and recycling services, ensuring every organisation is truly rescue ready.

A Year of Growth

2025 has been an exciting year for Defib4Life. Over the last year we have strengthened our team so we’re able to provide the best customer service and expert advice, expanded our product range and provided support to a range of businesses and communities around the UK.

We want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to find the right defibrillator for their needs, access training materials and understand how their new defibrillator should be maintained. The changes we’ve made to our business and the growth we’ve seen over the last year has helped us to achieve this.

We’re not just delivering defibrillators to our customers, we’re spreading awareness of the importance of having the equipment not only available, but ready to use too. We want our customers to be confident responders who are ready to act when every second matters.

Being shortlisted for Small Business of the Year is a testament to the hard work our team has carried out over the last year. We take pride in sharing our expert knowledge with our customers so that they find exactly the right product for their needs. Many customers come back to us time and time again because we’re able and happy to share our expert advice so they feel confident they have the right life-saving solution that will deliver when every second counts.

This recognition also celebrates our growth as a business, from a regional business to a trusted national supplier supporting a range of workplaces and communities across the UK.
