Derby Business Expo Recap: Highlights from the Day

The Defib4Life team had a great day at the Derby Business Expo on Wednesday 17^th September at Pride Park Stadium.

We had a great day at the business expo meeting other local business owners, sharing more about what we do and our mission and to shine a spotlight on why having a defibrillator in your workplace or community really matters.

We arrived at the venue and set up our stand, ready to welcome visitors. We had a range of defibrillators, cabinets, first aid kits and a manikin on our stand to enable us to both showcase the range of products we have on offer and to raise more awareness of the equipment that’s needed in our communities and workplaces.

We meet so many people have no idea what a defibrillator even looks like, let alone how to use one, so being able to attend this event and raise awareness was extremely important to us.

We had the chance to speak to so many people about how defibrillators work, who can use them safely and how installing one can make a huge difference in an emergency. Many people were surprised at how cost-effective and easy to maintain our units are.

The Expo gave us such a good opportunity to get out into another community to raise awareness of the importance of defibrillators in any space and helping to educate others on how easy and accessible they are, whether you’ve had training or not.

What’s next? Chesterfield Business Expo
