Keep your defibrillator rescue ready by ordering the Defibtech Lifeline View defibrillator battery. This battery is compatible with Lifeline View Automatic and Semi-Automatic defibrillators and will ensure both devices are able to deliver a shock during an emergency.

When installed, the battery has a standby life of up to four years standby life with a capacity of up to 125 shocks or 8 hours of continous operation. Your defibrillator battery should always be replaced once it has reached its expiry date or once it has become deplated, to ensure your defibrillator is able to deliver a life-saving shock during an emergency.

Key features

  • Four years standby life: The Lifeline view defibrillator battery has a four year standby life once installed in your AED. This will enable the device to perform daily, weekly and monthly self-checks. The standby life refers to the battery's expected performance while not in use. Once your AED has been used, the battery may be depleted and will need replacing.
  • Easy to check battery status: Compatible AEDs display battery information and provide visible and audible low battery alerts.
  • Perfect as a spare battery: This battery is suitable for replacing an expired or depleted battery, or holding as a spare for future maintenance.
  • Power when it's needed: A new battery provides capacity for 125 shocks or eight hours of continous operation.

Why should you replace your defibrillator battery?

The battery, along with the pads, is one of the most important parts of your AED's operation. It provides enough power to enable your defibrillator to deliver a shock in an emergency. A depleted or expired battery may not have enough power to switch the device on and means it will be unable to provide a shock to someone experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.

Keeping a spare battery or regularly ensuring your defibrillator is in full working order will ensure your AED is effective in an emergency.
