• Semi-Automatic operation: The A16 AED analyses the heart rhythm and, if a shock is necessary prompts the user to press the shock button. 
• Adult/Child button: Switch instantly from adult to paediatric mode by pressing the patient mode button. No pad change is required, allowing for faster response times in an emergency.
• Pre-connected pads: Pads are connected via a 1.8m length cable ensuring the device is ready for immediate use, eliminating delays or confusion in an emergency. 
• Dual use pads: The same pads are suitable for both adults and children, reducing the need to maintain multiple sets of pads and removing the need to switch pads when treating a child. 
• Multi-language support: A language select button allows users to switch between English / Welsh / Polish, making it suitable for multilingual environments.

• Self testing: Every 24hrs, weekly and monthly. Power on self test and battery insertion test automates operational checks to reduce the need for manual inspections.
