Recycle Your Old Defibrillator, Pads & Battery Safely

Expired or used defibrillators, pads and batteries contain specialised components that require safe and compliant disposal. This means you can't just throw them in the general waste but your old defibrillator and accessories might be cluttering up your workplace or community space.

At Defib4Life, we want to help you solve this problem and will take the following items for recycling:

  • Out of date or expired AEDs of any brand
  • Used or expired batteries
  • Old electrode pads, even if they've never been used but have passed their expiry date

It doesn't matter where you bought your defibrillator from, we'll take care of it for you.

If you've got an old defibrillator to recycle, please fill in the form below and leave a piece of paper inside the box with the following details on so we know where your device has come from!
