Developed with the support of leading European resuscitation experts, Brayden Baby Advanced is specifically designed for Paediatric Basic Life Support (BLS), EPALS, and EPILS training. It features a dedicated CPR scenario mode, enabling realistic practice within an infant cardiac arrest simulation.

The manikin is anatomically accurate and engineered to reinforce correct infant CPR technique. Chest compressions are performed to one-third of the anterior–posterior (AP) depth of the manikin (4 cm), in line with current resuscitation guidelines. A realistic, enlarged occiput positions the infant’s head correctly in flexion when lying supine, supporting proper airway management.

For enhanced realism during ventilation practice, the manikin includes an open, connected mouth and nose. The airway only opens when the head is placed in the correct neutral position, reinforcing correct head-tilt technique. A realistic jaw mechanism accurately replicates infant anatomy, allowing effective jaw thrust and jaw lift manoeuvres.
