The Physio-Control Lifepak 1000 AED is a semi-automatic defibrillator designed for use by emergency medical professionals. This defibrillator offers guided CPR assistance to help guide emergency responders, workplaces and health professionals through the process in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest.
The Lifepak 1000 defibrillator features built-in cprMAX technology to maximise uninterrupted hands-on CPR time and is equipped with easy to follow graphics and audio prompts. The semi-automatic shock delivery means rescuers must press a button to deliver a shock when advised by the device. Should lower dose shocks be unsuccessful, the Lifepak 1000 has the ability to escalate the energy shock level to 360 joules and increase chances of survival.
