Schiller FRED PA-1 Adult Replacement Defibrillator Electrode Pads
The Schiller FRED PA-1 Adult Replacement Defibrillator Electrode Pads are designed for reliable, plug and play use with the Schiller FRED PA-1 automatic and semi-automatic defibrillator models. These pads are pre-connected which enables quick setup and application in an emergency situation and feature integrated RFID technology, allowing the device to automatically detect when the pads are nearing expiration.
Defibrillator pads are an essential part of AED operation. These are the components that analyse the patient's heart rhythm and deliver the electrical shock. This means you must always have pads that are within date and unused. Defibrillator pads are single use so, if your defibrillator has been used in an emergency, you will need to replace them.
Key Features:
- Pre-connected for rapid deployment: Once delivered, these pads should be connected to the device which allows them to be immediately applied during an emergency, reducing delays in treatment when every second counts.
- RFID tag for automatic expiration monitoring: This tag communicates with the AED to monitor their expiration date. The device will detect when pads are nearing their expiry date and notify you so you can ensure your AED is always rescue ready.
- Long shelf-life: These electrode pads have a long shelf life of 2-3 years so you can ensure your device is always rescue ready.
-
Compatible with multiple Schiller devices: These pads can be used with several Schiller defibrillator models including:
- DEFIGUARD HD-7
- DEFIGUARD Touch 7
- CARDIOVIT AT-101 easy
- FRED Easyport Plus
- ARGUS Pro LifeCare 1 & 2
- Schiller FRED Easyport
- Schiller FRED PA-1 Fully-Automatic
- Schiller FRED PA-1 Semi-Automatic
Why should you replace AED pads?
AED pads have an expiry date because the conductive gel used gradually dries out over time. If your pads are used, expired or damaged, your defibrillator may not operate properly in a cardiac emergency or deliver an effective shock.
We recommend you regularly check the expiry date of pads or keep a record to ensure your device remains rescue ready.
