Setting Up and Maintaining the C855A AED Cabinet Alarm
When your cabinet is first delivered, the alarm will be switched to the OFF position. The alarm must be switched ON before it will operate.
- Open the cabinet door and locate the alarm unit inside the cabinet. It is attached to the roof on the right-hand side.
- Locate the ON/OFF switch on the back of the alarm.
- Switch the alarm to the ON position. The alarm will sound until the cabinet door is completely closed.
- To deactivate the alarm completely, move the switch to the OFF position. Please note that this will prevent the alarm from sounding during an emergency or unauthorised access.
- To replace the alarm battery, use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the alarm unit from the roof of the cabinet.
- Slide the top section of the alarm case off to access the battery compartment.
- Remove the existing battery and replace it with a new LR44 button cell battery.
- Reassemble the alarm and screw it securely back into its original position inside the cabinet.
