From Ruin to our New HQ: Welcome to the New Defib4Life Office

You may have seen updates on The Ruin on our social media channels over the last few months. What began as a derelict building in need of a complete transformation is now ready to become our new headquarters.  

 After months of careful planning, renovation work and progress behind the scenes, we're delighted to announce that our new office should be opening on 5th October!

Breathing new life into an old building  

When our Managing Director, Michelle, first saw the building, it was far from being a functioning office space. However, Michelle saw its potential and decided that it would become the new headquarters for our growing team and business.  

This project was more than just a simple office refurbishment. The building required extensive work to ensure it was safe, functional and suitable for the needs of our growing team.  

We decided to restore and repurpose the building to retain its character while turning it into a modern, practical office and distribution HQ for our business. Taking an unused, derelict building and turning it into somewhere our business can continue to thrive and grow has been particularly rewarding.  

We've enjoyed seeing the progress of the building as it's moved through various stages of construction, and we're excited to finally see the finished result.  

Onto the next phase of growth for Defib4Life  

The Ruin is going to be home for our customer service and fulfilment teams so we can continue to deliver the service we're so proud of as we grow our team and business further in the future. 

Our business has grown over the last year, along with the need for a space that can support our day-to-day operations and future growth plans. Our new premises will give our team the perfect environment to continue supporting organisations, workplaces and communities with access to lifesaving defibrillation equipment.  

We may be changing offices, but our mission remains the same: to make defibrillators more readily accessible and help more people feel confident about using them during a cardiac emergency. Two of the most important factors when it comes to potentially saving a life when every second counts.  

This is an extremely exciting milestone for Defib4Life. We'll have a permanent home in which we can continue developing our business and expanding the work we do. Most importantly, we'll be able to carry on delivering the advice, equipment and ongoing support our customers rely on.  

A milestone worth celebrating  

Opening The Ruin is an incredibly exciting milestone for Defib4Life. 

It shows how far our business has come and our ambitions for the future.  

We'd like to thank everyone who helped us bring the project to live, as well as all our customers and partners who have supported Defib4Life over the last few years.  

We will be inviting our local customers and supporters to come and join us at The Ruin for our grand opening so watch this space. We hope as many people as possible will come and join us to celebrate.  

What was once an unused ruin is now the new home of our business. We'll be sharing more photographs and updates from our new headquarters on our social media channels so keep following Defib4Life for a closer look inside The Ruin. We hope you'll be able to join us and help celebrate the beginning of this exciting new chapter.
